Swampert - Water - HP140
Stage 2 - Evolves from Marshtomp

α Growth: When you attach an Energy card from your hand to this Pokemon (except with an attack, Ability, or Trainer card), you may attach 2 Energy cards.

Ability: Diving Search
Once during your turn (before your attack), you may search your deck for any 1 card. Shuffle your deck, then place that card on top of your deck.

[C][C][C] Hydro Pump: 40+ damage. Does 30 more damage for each [W] Energy attached to Swampert.

Weakness: Grass (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 3

Archie’s Trump Card - Trainer
Supporter

You can only play this card if it's the only card in your hand.

Put a [W] Pokemon from your discard pile onto your Bench, then draw 5 cards. (Note: Yes, you can play /any/ [W] Pokemon to your Bench. It doesn't say Basic Pokemon. It only says [W] Pokemon.)

You may play only 1 Supporter card during your turn (before your attack).

Teammates - Trainer
Supporter

This card can't be played unless any of your Pokemon were Knocked Out during your opponent's last turn.

Search your deck for up to 2 cards and put them into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterwards.

You may play only 1 Supporter card during your turn (before your attack).

Silent Lab - Trainer
Stadium

All Basic Pokemon in play, in each player's hand, and in each player's discard pile have no Abilities.

This card stays in play when you play it. Discard this card if another Stadium card comes into play. If another card with the same name is in play, you can’t play this card.

Dive Ball - Trainer
Item

Search your deck for a [W] Pokemon and put it into your hand.

You may play as many Item cards as you like during your turn (before your attack).

Repeat Ball - Trainer
Item

Search your deck for 1 Pokemon that has same name as a Pokemon you have in play, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward.

You may use as many Item cards as you like during your turn (before your attack).

Strategy:
To put it simply Swampert is your main attacker. 4 Energy and a bangle he hits for 190 which knocks out every Ex including Virizion and Genesect even after resistance. With his alpha growth ability you can power him up in two turns presumably. Swampert's ability plus Slurpuff's ability is the draw engine of the deck. For each pair you get to search your deck for a card and put it in your hand essentially a computer search or two every turn. Swampert can also put energy on top of the deck for ether. I wanted to run more but deck space is thin as is.

Victini-EX is your main VirGen counter or Metal deck counter. With the draw engine its easy to get the victory piece and Victini when you need it. It can also act as extra energy acceleration from the deck. In one turn you can double attach to Swampert and then turbo energize two more from the deck. 4 Energy in one turn and that Swampert is OHKOing EXs

I think for now the pokemon and energy section are pretty fine but trying to distribute the item cards is hard. With Swampuff draw engine I figure you can run less drawing supporters plus with their ability its easy to grab Teammates or Archie out of your deck the exact turn you can use it.

RE: Swampuff (Swampert/Slurpuff)

The problem with lowering draw power, is that you still have to get that initial set up. I struggled a lot with Shiftry until i got it just right. Even then sometimes it just drew dead. So you still want a good standard draw support, just with more techs and 1 ofs for when you need them.
