This game looks awesome! No doubt it is going to pwn! What do you think about it?

NO SPOLIERS

Can... not... wait... must... have... game...

The thing that really sucks here is that I will not be able to complete Metroid Prime 3 before Galaxy comes out. I'm in a gaming dilemma here ;0

Yeah, definitely getting this one. I've only heard MINOR complaints about the game. One is auto-camera, but not because it's bad (it's only borderline in a couple spots) but just because you can't control it if you want to see something else. The other is that the first 60 stars are incredibly easy to get (all you need to face final boss), but the next 60 are reportedly much harder. Not really an issue for me.

This game looks simply amazing. I was able to play it at Wal-Mart one day and fell in love with it. Even the Co-Op mode sounds fun, and I generally look down upon those.

i rather save my money for SSBB than buying this... Nintendo have fooled me before with Meh-able games and i won´t allow them again... on the other hand is Mario... but i´m definetly getting SSBB before (even when it comes out later)

Just picked it up at GameStop. I'm about to play it, so I'll give you guys my first impressions once I do. (Of course without spoilers)

I've played for about 2 hours, and all I can say is, if you were wow'd when Super Mario 64 came out, this will do the EXACT SAME THING TO YOU. There are no, I repeat, NO pre-rendered graphics in this game at all. The game seems simple, but the game mechanics make most regular platformers look like pre-school PC games. Not only do you have to jump across stuff, but try doing it in a 3D perspective with constantly shifting controls. The music is awesome too, very well done, and reminds me of Dragon Quest VIII's music style. So yay for Nobou-sounding stuff.

Bottom line: If you loved SM64, you should, at the very least, rent this game. You won't be disappointed, unless you suck and fall into black holes every 30 seconds.

I'd give it a little mini review of about the three hours I've played it for, but really it would end up being pretty much like A_A's. This game is awesome, bottom line. It's definitely worth getting even if you want SSBB, and personally it's a game that might serve the purpose of holding me over until SSBB comes out.

Super Mario Galaxy is supposed to be the best Mario game of all time. At least since Super Mario 64.:)

That statement is completely true. Seriously, if you look around the posts here, the reviews almost everywhere, and message boards with SMG in the title, you will get the unanimous statement, that it is the best Mario since Super Mario 64, and I completely agree with that 100%. I've only had the game for one day, and I'm completely blown away. I'm about 1/4 of the way done with it, true, it's short, but it has completely pushed the Wii to it's limits in all categories. The game is a must buy if you love stellar music, wiked graphics, tight controls, and awesome gameplay and level design. This game is a must-buy for Wii-owners, Mario Fans, or hardcore gamers.

dmaster out.

Hohoho, I cannot wait until christmas now. Mario on the wii just has to be awsome, and the videos I've seen are great.

I just beat the game about ten minutes ago, and I have to say, this is by far the most epic Mario game Nintendo has yet produced. The amazing music combined with sleek graphics and awesome plot hooked me on this game from the start, and kept it awesome until the very end. Also, the game has some incredible replay value, but you'll learn about that once you buy/beat the game yourself, :p.

In conclusion: Mario Galaxy = 10/10
