Well, why don't make a sub-forum specially made for newbies under either Miscellaneous Stuff or Site Discussion be introduced? It will be a good place for newbies to start their "pioneer" threads or something like that. Because posting directly into the forum where experienced members are posting may make them feel uncomfortable.

Thank you.

Don't mean to double post but can somebody answer my suggestion? Thank you.

If sticky topics don't do the job, I fail to see how a sub-forum will do any differently. I mean, not everyone who first joins is technically a 'noob' to message boarding, it's just something that younger kids tend to do.

THEY Tend 2 tipe liek tis bcaus its teh lazy wa 2 tipe.

People like that generally don't read up on forum rules or the like, so I'm sort of not leaning towards this. I do appreciate your sticky topic though and the fact that you repeatedly update it. For now, that's probably all you can do.

I understand that, A_A.

Anyone else that would like to contribute a comment?

It is a good idea though and I hope the stuff at the very top will go back to the left becaus it looked better that way and I liked the buddy list on the left side. It made it a whole lot easier for me too.:)

They need to learn from experienced members if they wish to one day become one...

Which mind you, is not all that difficult. Most people learn best by learing from others....

Mistakes, and Triumphs....

hey noobnerd,
you mind if i had to your idea??
when the sub forum is made,
they can not get out to the other forums until there lev 5 or something????

just so they learn not to spam.

(note: only WPM and mods will be allowed in there.

LOL! How are you going to learn n00bs to not spam when by putting all of them together, only enabling them to learn from each other?!
Please think before you come up with something, cause that idea is so illogical o_O

Well, I didn't say that they will be stuck in a forum.

But I just suggested that they could post there, and access all other forums at the same time. They need guidance, so that forum will be for them get used to the our method of forumming (and they won't be penalised for it) so that they can also avoid spamming up our main forums.

but howcome everyone else who has just started seem to get along perfectly well with things just the way they are.
