As opposed to my other thread about expanding upon gengars strategies - I'm making a thread about simplify-ing them back down.

4-4-4 Gengar (SF-2TR/2SF-SF)
2-1-2 Nidoqueen (TR-??-RR)
2 Uxie
2 Crobat G
1 Azelf

Pokemon line: Gengar to be Gengar. Forcing them to kill themselves while attacking you; using Nidoqueen to hit hard and prevent KO's from Uxies and such. Uxie for set up, Crobat for a knockout with Shadow Room, Azelf for good measure.

3 Pokemon Collector
3 Rare Candy
3 Pokemon Communication
3 Bebes Search
2 Warp Point
2 Lookers Investigation
1 Luxury Ball
1 PONT
2 Broken Time-Space
3x Poke'dex Handy Ultra (thingy)
1x Seeker
1x Junk Arm

Standard trainer engine (I think). Yeah.

7 Psychic Energy
4 Rescue Energy
2 Double Colorless Energy

4 rescue energy to attach to SF Gengar (attack until they kill you -> flip for fainting spell -> KO them -> return Gengar to your hand) and abuse fainting spell. Rescue Energy can also be used to use Crobat G as a wall - as soon as they KO him, you get to put up gengar and drop crobat again. Double Colorless to attach to Nidoqueen if you ever need to attack with her.

Not much to say, really. This is the first deck I've ever planned to run (excluding the deck in the other thread, once I make it viable.)

Any comments about the general build of the deck and what I should change are appreciated - I plan to go and get the cards for this deck once I confirm.

You need to take out 1 gengar since right now you have 5 (gengar lv.X counts as a gengar). And i don't think that a gengar deck like this will need 4 rescue energy so maybe take out at least 2.

Take out:
1 gengar SF
2 rescue energy

put in
1 broken time space (3 of this is good for higher chances and if your opponent plays another stadium)
2 poke turn (to re use crobat g and get easy k.o s on pixies)

That should help somewhat.

I don't have a Gengar LV. X in this deck - although, it could be good with rescue energy.

The aim is to have rescue energy on a gengar in the main position as often as possible; I think I should run that many. But I'll think about it.

I will probably add Poke'Turns, even though I have no real way to search for them.
