Hi, I just started playing Pokémon with some friends from our university and decided to get myself the Umbreon UD starter deck. I added some cards here and their however I keep getting ROFL stomped. I am Brand new to the game so I don’t know what the staple cards are so if you guys could help me that would be awesome.
Pokémon (33)
3-2-1 Metagross UD (pretty much my only winning Condition)
4-3 Umbreon UD (Umbreon is pretty nice but dosent really kill anything)
2-2 Liron UD (he has to go but I don’t know what to replace him with)
2-2 Skuntank UD (This needs to go too)
2-1 Houndoom UD (really nice but dies fast)
3 Sableye (awesome combo with Pokémon communications)
2 Mawile UD (helps in the beginning getting cards I can actually play)
1 Raticate G SV (better then Murkrow)
1 Stantler UL (same as Ratticate)
1 Girafarig HS (love this card fetches my energies at the start)
1 Skarmory UD (going out too)
T/S/S (9)
2 Switch
2 Interviewer’s Questions
2 Sage’s Training
2 Pokémon Communication
1 Burned Tower (brings back the energies from my fainted Pokémon)

Ok that’s pretty much it basically I try to bring out Metagross as fast as I can. Umbreon comes out fast and allows me to stall to power up my Beldums. I usually try to start off with Giraferig, Raticate, and Or Standler Just to get the main pokes on the bench or energy’s to my hand. I will be buying most of the singles you guys suggest so just go all out :3 I’m primarily looking for better Win condition Pokémon’s and trainers/support cards.
