This is my new custom expansion, titled "Spirit Dimensions." The theme behind this expansion is the duelling powers of Yveltal and Xerneas, so I suppose it's a little behind the times, but I really like the Yin-Yang elements of the XY mascots.
Key to the expansion is a new mechanic I thought up- Aura Pokémon. This "aura" represents the fighting spirit of Pokémon even after they are knocked out in battle. Each Aura effect can be activated when the Pokémon in question is in yours or your opponent's discard pile. For more info and an explanation on Aura Pokémon, read the spoiler below;

Aura cards are Pokémon cards that go to different places when they are discarded. "Radiant Aura" Pokémon go to the owner's discard pile, and produce effects that benefit the owner. "Shadow Aura" Pokémon, however, go into the opposing player's discard pile, and produce effects that inhibit your opponent. You may activate "Aura" effects during your turn only.
Whenever an "Aura" card is moved from the discard pile to either player's Bench, Hand or the Deck, or when the player activates their abilities, they are instead sent to the Spirit Dimension (similar to the Lost Zone), where they are no longer part of the game. The exception is if these cards are attached to Pokémon as Energy or Tool cards- they go to the Spirit Dimension once they are removed from the Pokémon they are attached to.
Their powerful effects also come with drawbacks- when an Aura Pokémon is Knocked Out in battle, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards, similar to knocking out a Pokémon-EX.
