Lately, some people have been asking questions in the welcome center when they should be in another subforum. One of them got locked. I've noticed that the description of the Welcome Center makes it a bit confusing where to ask questions. It says "and ask any questions if you need help with something". People make threads there to ask questions because it says you can. Or does it mean, you do it all in one thread. People who have been there for a while can't edit their welcome thread to ask a question. I was just wondering because some people are getting confused with it.

It's kind of unclear. It also sounds like you can ask questions in the Welcome Center. :)

This is what is says for Site Discussion: Comment on, discuss, provide suggestions, or report problems with PokeBeach.com or its forums.

It doesn't say you can ask questions or get help with something. I'm not sure.

All questions should go in the Site Discussion. But, if it has nothing to do with the site, I'm not sure.

I guess. The problem has been happening a lot. I'm just finding a way to enforce it a little bit more. New members will get their threads locked for not understanding.

That's a very good point, thanks for pointing it out luckyluigi7. We'll edit it to make it more clear as soon as possible.

Hmm, anything else you guys want to suggest about the welcome forum?

Other than that, it's a very nice layout. That's probably my only suggestion. :)

The welcome forum should add to people's post count. Like it does on a lot of the other forums.

I thought it always did. If not, it should. Welcoming members is a post for sure. :)

I think not. It's just spam. I can go welcome every member and my postcount will shoot way up.
