Gliscor X's Shoot Poison Poke-power says to choose 1 defending pokemon to be paralyzed and poisoned.

Does the word "defending pokemon" mean including bench pokemon of your opponent? If it does not, then why does the description include the phrase "...choose 1..."?

I think a player can choose one of the bench pokemons of the opponent too. Just bad description I guess. Maybe it should have said "choose 1 of your opponent's pokemon..."

The reason it says to choose one of the Defending Pokemon is in case you were doing a doubles battles, not singles like what is standard. If it is a standard singles battle their Active Pokemon (Defending Pokemon) becomes paralyzed and poisoned.~Mark
