Scizor prime

In the ND format I think Scizor will do great. I'm getting play set, because with chandelure, and all those other psychic decks and decks that will need special energy ( pretty much allot of decks in our meta and probably future meta ) especially mewtwo since he will abuse DCE and prism I think Scizor might earn a spot in the meta and be considered a good deck.

Scizor can't block Cursed Shadow so it's pointless against Chandelure.

I don't think Scizor is a bad card, but it's a major pain to have to manually attach to something twice before you start attacking with it in this format. I'd rather just run a lot of Lost Removers.

It will be ok in this format because if Prism Energy and DCE, but Magnezone makes it not as good because it can easily be knocked out.

You can pop an Electrode to attach a buttload of {M} onto Scizor to use Metal Scissors for loads of damage and If you need to retreat for free then Dodrio for Retreat Aid helps. Then again Reshiram can OHKO it with Outrage considering how easily teched it is in decks like The Truth and all.

I don't know exactly where to fit Scizor in (maybe with Electrode as stated above) but I definitely think he could be a Mewtwo EX stopper which would be great considering Mewtwo is supposed to take the format and run. But like I said...I don't really know which deck it would fit in with.

Cobalion NV is a better Mewtwo EX counter than Scizor Prime, it has better
attacks and can abuse Eviolite and Special Metal to absorb damage along with it's
-20 {P} Resistance.

As much as I like Scizor the need to get Red Armor to trigger is too situational
to run. I mean how many matchups are you going to be up against where the Defending
Pokemon will have a Rescue or DCE attached? Probably not very many.

Only decks that abuse Special Energies currently are CaKE, ChandePlume, 6 Corners, and Durant.

Well, what I'm saying is that I think that whatever deck Mewtwo is in will probably have 4 DCE because of Mewtwo's first attack. And I think generally that you're going to try and get a DCE attached to Mewtwo because it's a turn 1 set up. So if he has a DCE attached to him then he can't attack Scizor Prime.

Of course, it all sounds good but I don't know if it would really work. That's just my take on it.

It wasn't the best deck, but my friend played electrode Scizor cobalion shaymin and won the last cities I went to.

Ah, Scizor Prime. I used to be infatuated with the card, so I ran it with Umbreon UD. The deck itself would have so much more potential if Umbreon blocked Abilities, but unfortunately, it got errata'd. Otherwise, you could run Scizor/Umbreon/Vileplume/Celebi Prime as an annoying lock deck. My only concern would be that it looks good on paper, but doesn't work out irl. You'd basically block the Evolutions with Celebi, block Item cards with Plume, block Special Energies with Scizor, and block Poke-Powers/Bodies with Umbreon.

Bisharp NV (the steel type one) does the same exact thing that Scizor does with its second attack, but I think Red Armor is cool enough for Scizor to at least be played at league. If Fire decks hadn't been running so rampant, Scizor could have taken the advantage over decks that rely heavily on Special Energy early in the rotation. Sadly, Scizor has yet to see a deck that would make it worthy to tech for. We can only hope that the poor metal bug has a chance, but I'm doubting it's possibilities at this time.
