Well I was going to just append my Gengar vs Unown G thread, but apparently it locks after the original question is answered, so here I go again. Sorry for the trouble.

Ok, so Unown G prevents effects of an attack from affecting that poke'mon.

However, Roserade's (SF 23/100) Bowed Whip selects a poke'mon and does 30 <b>damage</b> to that poke'mon. Is this effect prevented under Unown G's Guard or not?

It does damage, not damage counters. This means Unown G will do nothing. By the way, threads aren't locked after being answered. Only professors are able to reply.~Mark
