This is my try of a render, say if I can modify:

Gah! Delete the white background! But anyways, it is pretty good for your first try. Did you use my tut?

Anyways, most pokemon or maybe all, have a black outline. When you render, try to keep that outline. Don't do half and half, that's the biggest reason which makes a render look bad.

I think he wants you to put it on a transparent background.

Anyways, that looks good. A few brush strokes would easily take out the letters from "PokeBeach.com", and a bit of a touch-up of the outer edges with a soft eraser tool should make it looks great. :3

Well, in the program I use (though these terms most likely apply to all art programs), brush strokes are repeated movements of the brush tool on an area. Basically, it's just coloring over an area. In this case, you could color over the parts of its fire where the letters still exist and make it look like they were never there.

A soft eraser is just the eraser tool with its hardness decreased. With the eraser tool softened like that, using it on the outline makes the edges less defined, and normally makes the render a little better (depending on the effect you're going for).

A softened eraser tools are these: (at bottom of post)
