I am hoping that someone can help me out, seeing as I am fairly new and don't understand some of the new rules.

1) I have read on here that you cannot play Trainers on your first turn...OK. I have also read somewhere else that NEITHER player can play Trainers on their first turn...which one is correct?

2) Rare Candy: My buddies and I have a "house rule" that we play by saying that if we lay down a basic pokemon (say...Bagon) on turn 4 (for example), we can evolve it into Shelgon or Salamence on that same turn by using RC. Is that legal?

and finally 3) LEGENDs attack calculation. I am running a Suicune&Entei LEGEND (the one with Torrent Blade and Bursting Inferno). Torrent Blade takes 2{W} and 1{C} and only affects the bench (with no weakness/resistance). Bursting Inferno takes 1{R} and 2{C} for 80 damage. I played against a Donphan Prime who's weakness is {W} X2. If I use Bursting Inferno, will that be 80 base damage because it is Entei's fire attack (minus the Exoskeleton Poke-Body) or will it be 160 base damage because the LEGEND is both a {W} and a {R} type (minus the Exoskeleton Poke-Body)?

Thanks in advance :D

The player who is first may not play trainer cards on their first turn.

Yes. Rare Candy lets you skip waiting a turn to evolve.

It will do 140. 80 x 2 - 20.
