Discussion Questions about card language

After reviewing some of the new cards that are coming out next month, I had a question about some card language. Will cards like Blue's(Green's) Search allowing you to search the deck for 2 trainers as long as you have no pokemon with abilities in play be able to function normally if you have the unmanned power plant in play that blocks all non GX/EX Pokemon abilities? Technically the cards still have abilities but are being turned off by the stadium and I'm just not sure how these two cards will interact.

It's not recommended for judges to make rulings on unreleased cards, but where's the fun in that.

If you have a card in play that disables abilities from Pokemon in play, you'll be able to play Blue's Search.

Precedent for this is set by a similar ruling involving Hex Maniac and Weaville: if abilities are disabled then they cannot stop or enhance moves dependent on their presence.

Here's a similar ruling from the Compendium regarding Garbotoxin:

Q. Weavile's "Rule of Evil" attack does damage to each Pokemon that has an Ability. But if Garbodor's "Garbotoxin" Ability is activated would "Rule of Evil" only damage Garbodor?
A. That's right, because Garbotoxin says each Pokemon (except those with Garbotoxin) have no Abilities. (Sep 14, 2017 TPCi Rules Team)

Assuming Abandoned/Unmanned Power Plant has the same wording ("... has no ability ...") then it should work the same way. Bulbapedia indicates it does, though it's possible the translation could change of course.
