Ruling Question regarding Weezing HGSS

Weezing does 90 damage to itself, and dont apply Weakness to this damage.

Normally this move will knock Weezing out. And I know this may sound silly, but will this count for your opponent getting a prize card?

Yes, your opponent will also take a prize due to super explosion doing 90 damage to Weezing.
