Ruling proper application of poison??

You put a single damage counter on the poisoned Pokemon in between ever turn. When you end your turn, a damage counter is placed. When your opponent ends their turn, a damage counter is also placed. Poison can be removed by evolving, leveling up, retreating, or switching with an effect.

Is that what you wanted to know, or did I misunderstand the question?

To clarify, if some pokemon use a poison that does more damage, like Crobat G for example. If someone uses Crobat G's poison to put 2 between turns, but then someone in the same battle uses Skuntank G, the poison drops to 1. It will not add, it drops to the new poison level, but rules are the same. If Nidoqueen or some other form of healing is on the bench, you have a choice whether you want to apply poison damage first or Nidoqueen. So, I can choose to take poison damage, then heal, or vice versa. If my pokemon is 1 away from dying, and I apply poison first(why someone would do that idk but...) that pokemon would be knocked out, so I cant heal them. Understand? Lol.

That part is wrong. All effects must be applied before KOs are checked. The person whose pokemon is affected does choose the order, which you are correct on.
