The following is the standard rule set for Pokken Tournament. These rules have been previously used in the recent GameStop Championships as well as other events. If/when we have our first Pokken Tournament, these will most likely be the rules that we will follow. Now, it is time for you to practice!

Pokken Tournament Rules: Standard Rules – The permitted Main Battle Pokemon are Blaziken, Pikachu, Lucario, Gardevoir, Pikachu Libre, Sceptile, Gengar, Machamp, Braixen, Chandelure, Suicune, Weavile, Charizard & Garchomp. The permitted Support Pokemon are Emolga and Fennekin, Snivy and Lapras & Frogadier and Eevee. The Main Battle and Support Pokemon may not be switched during a match. Use the standard Cheer Skill only and for the Battle Stages, select from the Ferrum Stadium, Tellur Town, Ferrum Dojo & Training Gym. Conducted via either local play or Internet connection. Time Limit(s): Eighty (80) seconds.

I have a huge dislike to the very limited amount of allowed Support Sets. It doesn't allow for much creativity.

Those rules are from The Pokemon Company International (TPCi). I am open to discussion, however. Just keep in mind that if TPCi allows sanctioning at the TO level, we would have to go by whatever they say. Right now all the sanctioning has been event specific, such as GameStop and EVO.
