Potential naming pattern for human characters?

After close observation of many of the anime characters, I have noticed a strange pattern among some of the names:

Cynthia-roman goddess of hunting and the moon
Saturn-roman god of time
Mars-roman god of war and bloodshed (this is an odd one since mars is a girl)
Jupiter-roman god of the sky (again with the gender thing)
Iris-Greek/roman goddess of the rainbow and of communication

Coincidence? Maybe. Let me know if this pattern shows up anywhere else.

Yeah its coincidence... Cynthia/Iris don't fit the trend together since one is a US name, another is a Japanese name. The Team Galactic admin names were named based on planets.

The Galactic admins are without doubt based off planets. The root word for galactic is galaxy which is where planets are.
