Within the next few weeks we will be reorganizing the structure of this forum. However, we want to make sure all members will be happy with the new structure. Please see the document below. If you have ANY suggestions at all, please post them! Try to think about what you post about on a daily basis, where such topics would fit, how the rules of each forum would affect what you post, etc. Try to provide as much feedback as possible because this will be the forum organization for years and years to come.

Besides some of the names being too cheesy, it looks pretty good.

What will happen to all the current forums? Will I have to repost my trading thread etc.?

Sounds... Interesting? I have nothing to suggest, although I look forward to see more :p GL in the coming weeks, I guess.

Instead of Creative Artwork, it looks better if it was renamed to Graphics & Artworks.

Actually, could the Rate My Teams and Competitive Battling groups be combined?

Woohoo! The project is finally complete! After hearing about it a while ago, it's good to see it up and running! Great job, we finally get the "surprise"

First of all, the exclamation marks on almost all the names make us look like some eager 5 year old... I guess Jon could pass for one ;)

Pokebeach TCG Activities ~ Sounds like a playdate with the girl across the street. Current events/events sounds more professional

Collectors Paradise ~ Just coz we don't all live in cal doesn't mean you have to rub it in our faces :p Collectors cove sounds nice. Also, collecting questions should be a sticky in general TCG discussion cuz... now that I think about it this is kind of a waste. Collectors stuff can fit in with the general TCG

Everyday deck garage ~ This isn't home improvement. You aren't Tim Allen. Casual play deck garage seems a bit better

Players sand box ~ There better be shovels and purple plastic turtles :eek: lol on a serious note, I think once again it should be changed to be a bit more professional. I like pokebeach for being laid back and fun, but the body of our forums needs to be professional. Maybe "Strategies and Ideas in the making"

Yeahh I doubt that would happen. Like with most forum layout changes, threads will be moved to the correct section.

Or Havoc will strike and we'll have to remake everything ~ :p

Most threads won't need to be reposted. They'll just be moved if they don't belong. You don't have to worry about reposting everything.

I agree with some of you fixes, but I like Collector's Paradise(I live in NorCal, it's completly different than SoCal) And Players Sand Box has to be the best name ever!!! Otherwise, good fixes

I liked having the Card Review having its on topic. It's on the home page, and discussion is big there. I love the Card Review, so keep that as is.

Boo on the Player's Sandbox. The Combos & Strategies topic should replace that one. Rather than having three Fix My Deck! threads, one about talking of basic strategy and possible combinations should go there.

Other than that, it looks good.

EDIT: Where is the topic for Article Submissions? People like Gliscor had really good ones that really help new players. I think a group should be created that pumps out a solid article on the metagame or a card every week, that could be posted in the home page.

Three tiny concerns:

- "Everyday Deck Garage" can probably be shortened to just "Deck Garage". Those seeking well-thought out information relevant to the current metagame for upcoming tournaments will know where to post, anyhow.

- The "Game Corner" description seems too long, and most of what is posted in it can be found in the Game Corner Rules anyhow. No need to put it there as a warning, if they don't read them, behead those nubs. >(

- The name "Pokebeach TCG Activities sounds a bit off, seeing that both subforums deal with Tournaments. Why not just "Pokebeach TCG Tournaments"?

I'm not sure I like how much the TCG takes up the forum, but if that's what the masses are into nowadays.

I think it would be smarter to combine Entertainment and Video Games as just one Entertainment Section.

I also don't like the Let's Trade name.

I'm not sure if it'd be necessary but should we have a forum for the third generation since it's still relatively new or should we just keep it with the older games? Other than that I love the new layout. The TCG section looks huge O_O

Edit: Another thing? Why are we ditching the name Celadon Mart? *sniff* Imo, it's a lot better than Art Requests.

I really don't have anything to say except this (for now, anyway), but I did notice one small detail.

Although there's a forum up that allows members to trade Pokemon, there isn't one that allows them to battle. I know now we have the Global Terminal forum, but in this document it just has a trading forum instead. Yes, there is a forum to discuss competitive battle, but there is no forum to arrange any battles (Shoddy or Wifi, competitive or non-competitive). I'm not sure if this was an oversight or if we're gradually phasing that out.
...Nah, it's got to be an oversight. We have way too many battlers here to just nix a battle forum completely.
