==Rules and Guidelines== ​

  • Please never trade me hacks. My Pokemon here have never been touched with any hacking hardware and I expect the same thing for the Pokemon I receive. I will however make a few exceptions in the case of cloning, as long as everything else about the Pokemon is legitimate.
  • If I unknowingly trade you a hack (Some of my Pokemon here may have someone else's OT) you have the right to trade back without hesitation.
  • My PM box tends to fill quite fast, and in order to keep a more long term record of our trade, I would appreciate it if you post in this thread rather than sending me a PM when requesting a trade. Once everything is worked out, we can move to Profile Comments or PMs to organize trade times and reduce thread spam.
  • Please to not get frustrated or disappointed if I decline a lot of offers. I'm not really looking for very many things beyond my Wants List. There are a few exceptions however, so don't be afraid to post an offer.
  • Remember, have fun! We're playing a children's video game for goodness sake, and if we don't have fun, what's the point? This rule will be heavily enforced. ;-)

==RNG Services==​

A quick note for those unfamiliar with the Random Number Generator:

There is no such thing as a random number. It does not exist. It cannot exist. When a computer is told to create a random number, it doesn't magically pull one out of nowhere.

So, how do the Pokemon games create 'random' Pokemon, with 'random' stats? The answer is the RNG, or Random Number Generator. In a gross oversimplification, the RNG is a formula that includes constantly changing variables like the time, number of Pokemon carried in the player's party, number of steps taken, etc, and crams them into a hexadecimal string called a seed. This long series of numbers and letters is what the game uses to create a Pokemon. Well, that's great, but how do we use all this? Most of the variables that go into the RNG can be manipulated, and therefore the Pokemon caught or hatched can be manipulated. All it takes is a few calculations, time, and patience. For more in depth information, I recommend searching the internet for RNG abuse on Pokemon Black and White.

==RNG Rules and Guidelines==​

  • I will only RNG breedable Pokemon on the 5th Generation Pokemon games. This means no Lugia, Manaphy, Heatran, etc.
  • I can also RNG Flawless Dittos with any nature, if you need one.
  • RNGing takes a lot of time, and unfortunatly finding the time to RNG a Pokemon can sometimes be hard. I will only RNG for people if they have a Pokemon that I really want at the moment. Please do not be discouraged or frusterated if I turn your RNG request down.
  • To request a custom RNGed Pokemon, please just post in the thread like you would if you were requesting a normal Pokemon.
  • When requesting, make sure you tell me everything you want on the Pokemon. This includes: nature, shininess, ability, IV spread, Hidden Power, egg moves, location hatched, nickname, gender, and even the month that it was hatched if you so desire.
  • Although not necessary, I would greatly appreciate requesting near-flawless IV spreads as opposed to flawless IV spreads. What I mean when I say this, is: If you are requesting a Porygon, and you intend to use it for battling, the IV for the Attack Stat is never used, as Porygon is a special attacker. In order for me to generate a flawless spread, I would need two flawless parents that I would have to RNG ahead of time. For a near-flawless spread (flawless, but with the non-attacking stat =/= 31) I can get away with only one flawless parent reducing my work load. Now, it's perfectly OK to request flawless Pokemon, it would just make my life easier if you took this into consideration.
  • I reserve the right to use the same PID that I use to create your Pokemon to create a 'copy' for myself. Here's what I mean: When I RNG a Pokemon, I set my DS clock to a specific time and date, and advance the PID frame until I'm on the one that supplies the desired nature and shininess. If one were to start the game at the exact same time, and advance the frame the exact same number of times for two Pokemon, they would share the same creation code and be, for all intents and purposes, a clone of each other.
  • I can do Dreamworld abilities, but only if I have them. Check the Pokemon Listings section to see my (currently somewhat limited) collection of DW abilities available.
  • You can do whatever you want the the Pokemon you receive. Clone them, release them, give them to all of your friends, use them as a Frisbee, I don't care.
  • Do not use any Pokemon I make for you to kill kittens.

Well, I'm transfering right now, but the Thundurus's Adamant, and the Kyogre's Modest.
