Attacks on two fronts! As powerful Ultra Beasts such Nihilego GX and Kartana GX emerge from Ultra Space, Deoxys GX attacks from space. Save the world from invasion with Rayquaza GX and brand new Pokémon SWITCH, including Wishiwashi SWITCH! But will these force be enough to defeat the powerful Necrozma GX?

Seeing as Pokémon Sun and Moon is now out, I thought I'd create a set to go with it, using the dual-types, Pokémon BREAK and the brand new Pokémon-GX. Also introduced is a new type of Pokémon called Pokémon SWITCH, which change forms under certain conditions.

Adrenaline Orb would be useless because the deck isn't public knowledge, so the player wouldn't be forced to take a Pokemon

It's mostly aimed at people who use cards such as Breakthrough Zoroark that have attacks that do more the more Pokémon the opponent have on their bench. And the opponent would pick the Pokémon.

Yes but the card is useless.

Because no one knows what is in the deck except for the player, they are not required to take a card out of the deck when searching as, for all intents, you cannot guarantee that they have a basic Pokemon in their deck.

So you can play the card and nothing will happen.

A better use for the card would be something like Target Whistle.

Really the only fix I can think of for Adrenaline Orb is make it so you search through your opponent's deck... however, being able to take a look at the entirety of your opponent's deck is very powerful. That's why a lot of these sort of cards pull Pokemon from the discard or your opponent's hand. You could give your opponent an incentive to pull a Pokemon out, I suppose.

I really don't get the problem.

It's the same case with anything that tells you to search your own deck for an energy or a Pokémon. There's times where you use Brigette and there's no Basic Pokemon in your deck. It's a hazard, but it's unlikely to happen unless you use it late in battle. It's a hazard that can happen with any card that searches your deck for a specific type of card. And it does say that if they find any basic Pokemon they must put it on their bench.

The problem is the 'must'.

Because you can't see your opponent's deck when you search with it, your opponent is able to lie and you have no way of knowing whether or not.

EDIT: Apologies, for some reason the site has glitched and doesn't let me get rid of the double spoilers

This is actually a fairly common error caused when you have a [COLOR] tag before a [SPOILER] but when the [/COLOR] tag ends inside the spoiler. It's an order of operations glitch, as the forum is trying to close a color tag but can't until the spoiler is closed, so it automatically creates double spoilers. The best way to avoid this is to use the BB Code Editor (that spanner button in the top right) to end color tags manually, instead of using the the button at the top to change the font back to black automatically.

Here's an example of the glitch as you would see in the BB Code Editor:

[COLOR=#000000][spoiler] This will break off at [/COLOR][/spoiler][spoiler][COLOR=#ff0000]red[/COLOR].[/spoiler]
Which causes:
This will break off at
red.

To fix this, just remove the unnecessary [COLOR=#000000] tags (#000000 is black) and the spoiler tags:

[spoiler] This won't break off at [COLOR=#ff0000]red[/COLOR. [/spoiler]
Which causes:
This won't break off at red.

Hopefully that makes sense!

Thank you! seems someone's fixed for me. Did you do that?

So I've decided alongside the main set, I'll do a few "Promos". By this I mean you can request/suggest ideas for cards, and I will add them to the set. There are 3 cards that will be added, being:

-One Pokémon-GX

-One Regular Line (Can evolve once, twice, or not at all)

-One Pokémon BREAK line (Can evolve once, twice or not at all, then evolves into the Pokémon BREAK.

There'll be one card from each category, and the card name will include the person who submitted it's name in it, for example DevGaming's Raichu.

So get cracking!
