After looking at the awesome fakes PMJ and his friends made, it inspired me to take the ideas I have and make a fake set as well.

Right now I have several rough cards. They were created at the best of my current abilties and as such they only look average.

Im looking for someone on the forum who has good computer art/graphic skills and is willing to help me out.

Anyone who helps "perfect" the cards, will be credited. (Illustrade by_____) insert user name)


I also am open to letting this other person decide what the set symbol looks like. (as long as they can design it)

All Pokemon TCG sets have the cards arranged by rarity and in alphabetical order. (holo rares in alphabetical order, then rares in alphabetical order, the uncommons, and so on)
Feebas has an extra s, and the c in "magicarp" should be a k.

Sigh...I WAS planning on double checking my spelling of names before I made the final products. lol

Gyarados Lv X -

The art is glitched up near the top right - don't worry about fitting things into squares and that, just drag the picture layer under the blank layer. Also, the pic should be holographic.
D-Smash is pretty epic, and Dragon Revenge is a good attack for later in the game.
Did you draw the Gyarados pic? It looks like a stock animé pic to me. Sort the credit out, even though it's an official pic it will still be art thievery. I usually credit Illus. Pokémon Anime for anime pics.

Well, the art error in the corner is because I dont have any skills in picture editing. That was the best I can do with Paint...
And I dont know how to make it holographic.
And lastly, the "illus" part was suppose to be blank still. PMJ put my username on that. I meant for him to add it to a different one. Oh well...
 
Eh, the Gyarados's attack for some reason reminded me of the Banette ex from Legend Maker.

Also, to post the cards without the links showing up, you have to write it like this:
[*url=url of your card] Name of the card (this will be the visible text that can be clicked to view the card) [/url]

So for the Gyarados, you write it like this:
[*url=http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/bb275/shadoworganoid/Fake%20Cards/GyaradosLvX.jpg] Gyarados LV.X [/url]

Just remove the "*" at the beginning, and it'll look like this:
Gyarados LV.X
 
K first off, The Gyrados X is kinda-ummm-lame. That power-is-a free prize. Thats broken. Maybe you should word it so it is like Walrein MT where they discard it if you flip 2 heads, but like it doesn't count as a KOd pokemon. So...and the picture. No. I mean-ick. Its an anime picture slapped onto a vortex like backround. It should be 3-d! Stand out! Lol. Otherwise, Dragon Revenge is cute.
 
Your supporter needs a name in it...

Instead of "Second Chance" It should be Bob's Second Chance :D

Well, first of all, the Gyarados is a FUN card. Its suppose to be completely broken. :p
I made the card because of dmaster. lol I wanted to see his reaction. *shruggs*
Secondly, I dont have Photoshop, GIMP or any other fancy art editor. THe best art I can do is either a crappy hand sketch, OR google images search.

Hence why im looking for someone to edit the final version of my cards.

Hmm....your right! It does. When I decide on a good name for it, i'll post it.
 
^^I guess. I have GIMP, but am just getting started. When/If I get better, I would be willing to help out, but not now at least. But otherwise, its cute. Haha. Put a belt on it and SLAUGHTER.
 
Well, I dont plan on having this set DONE anytime soon. So as long as you dont wait until next year, I can wait for some further help.


I mean, can you at least edit the card itself. (Text, font ect) ???
 
gyarados lv. x is really well made apart from the fact that you just used the concept art stretched out. I might change the art if I were you

Thanks. I dont have the computer skills to make good art though.... That looks better then what It would otherwise. lol
