Areas AFTER beating the game:

Heartbreak Lake: After you obtain the item to catch Rolalod, go to Lovers Woods, and use the item. A path way will open up to an unknown part of the forest, where, a Rolalod will appear. After you catch him, go back, and you can find Ghost type Pokemon there, and the one and only Shooka Berry, which, when taken, can allow a Pokemon to grow 2 levels. It cannot be planted.

Spirit Cave: After obtaining the itme that allows you to catch Basku, go to Route 330 and surf in the pond. The area that was formerly blocked by police is now opened. If you go that way, you will see a cave floating in the water. If you enter it, Basku will be sitting there. After you capture Basku, the cave will serve no importance.

Underworld Realm: After obtaining the item to catch Fienarark, go to Duckweed city after beating the game, and use the item that allow’s you to catch Fienark. A black portal will open up, and you’ll fall into it. When you land, you fill see Fienark, and you will be given the opportunity to capture him. You may only visit this area once.

Battle Galaxy: Go to Granite City after beating the game, and go to the Pokejet. The flight attendant will tell you that the jet has been modified to go into space! You’re rival will then come in at the nick of time to tell you about the Battle Galaxy, and how it’s up in space. You will battle a certain Planet Leader on each planet, and, after beating all of them, you will fight the Galaxy Leader, Michael.

Cryptic City: After you beat the game, your father & mother will tell you to go to the mart to get some supplies. On your way, there will be an earthquake, and you will faint. When you regain consciousness, you will be in Cryptic City. After you navigate through many, many tombs, one will hold the legendary Pokemon, Ghegg.

Abilities-

Environmental- This Pokemon’s attack strength changes depending on the weather.
Spark Plug- Any Pokemon attacking a Pokemon with this ability has a 60% chance of Paralysis
Bean Counter- As this Pokemon levels up, it shows its EV count
Imitation- The Pokemon’s type is now the same as the opponent
Greed- You get double the amount of money every time you defeat a trainer
Gullible- Each of this Pokemon’s attacks have 10% less accuracy

New attacks-
Crystal Kick Crystal: - no effect
Plasma Cannon Plasma: - The defending Pokemon has a 30% chance of Paralysis
Rainbow Cannon: Normal: - The Pokemon that used this attack can’t attack next turn
Plug Fling: Metal: - if the user has the ability Spark Plug, this attack Paralysis the user
Snarl- Normal: - The defending Pokemon’s attack is lowered by 50%
