1. I was in K.B toys with my mom(I was probably 7)
"Since you were a good boy with me at the mall today you can pick ONE pack of pokemon cards" said my mom(Or something like that)
"Ok lets see i want....that one" I picked up the jungle set.
"You dont want one of the newer ones?" replied my mom
"I dont know i think i just want this one!" i said. My mom bought me the cards and i was trying to open the pack as we we walked to the escalator. I remember we were on the escalator and i opened up the pack to find a holo blastoise, a card i was looking for for a long time. I hugged my mom and showed her the card. To this day i still have that card. I lost all my old cards except that one and a holo raichu from jungle. My two favorites.
2. also young me. I would always go to this little card store in the mall with my grandpa. They sold single cards. They knew us down there. It was great i would go with my grandpa and we would pick out a card. We would see which one had the coolest art or was the rarest. Good times!
3.well there are so many from my present me. But i think theres one thing that makes it different. I dont have anyone to share it with. My friends dont know i like it, My parents dont know i like it, all i have is me! And all of you guys of courseI have had some fond memorys Like maybe a month ago when i found all my old pokemon action figures burried in the closet! I actually played with them
I think everyone has something good with pokemon! Even if they dont like it anymore there will always be memories!
I thought your parets didn't know you like Pokemon... How come your Mom alloud you to get a packet of Jungle and she doesn't know oyu play...
My first memory fo Pokemon is at nursery school, I was drawing with my friend and he drew a wierd yellow character.
"Its a Pikachu" he said.
Being cluless what a 'Pikachu' was, he tolfd me about pokemon. I was onyl three, so I had no idea what it really was, I may have thoguht pikachu was real, but shopping with my mum, I saw a Pokemon deck. It was the 'Zap' theme deck from base set with pikachu on teh cover, an dI recognized the Pikachu. I didn't ask to buy the deck, but I told my Mum and Dad one day that there was this game I waanted to start playing called Pokemon cards. After a couple of weeks I discovered the TV show, and after easlly getting into it, I got a starter theme deck, my first ever cards, and three base set packs. occasionally my paretns ywould by me an odd booster here or there, and beign about 4 at the time, we played a game with the cards me and my friend made up. When I was about five, my Dad said to me he thought the game would be more fun if we played the proper way. By now the team rocket decks were out, and after getting 'Trouble' My dad read through the rules and explained them to me. I told all my friends how to play the proper game, and I was a proud collector ever after. When I started to get poket money, every two or three weeks I saved enough to buy another booster, and my collection grew and grew, and my parents got me decks and packs occasionally, and I got more pokcet money, and my collection grew,. and now, 8 years later, I sit at hoem with 4000 cards. A long the way I was in and out of the gameboy and DS games, and I never liked the show so much when I got older than 7.
wow , good story , its funny how 1 thing can change a life , like if i never got blue version , or never got into it , i'd be......wow i have no idea

ya know , i had that once , but different , my best friend got a pack , he was going to head to Nats , and i said hey you need a Blissey , and we were in the lane to buy that one pack , and i tap him and wisper " She is going to be in there " , and guess what it was , and my good friend was estatic , but though that wasnt the only time , its happened to me telling others whats in it , 4 other times , and i was right , and it was REALLY strange , and strange how i have super luck at pickin packs , i save a bunch of money and its just luck.
