Hi guys! I'm Chris, and I have been a long time lurker around the site. I thought you guys might enjoy the hand animated recreations of the intro from Pokemon Gold & Silver I made recently. Please let me know what you think and tell me which intro I should do next! Thanks again!! :D

Ah. Seeing that Gold intro again brings back memories.
These are very well done and they run in perfect time with the game.
The drawings are great, although if I were to nitpick I don't think the perspective on the Charizard at the end is quite right. The Pikachu's cheek also looks a little stretched. Fantastic job on the rest though.
Another point I would like to make is, although you kept authenticity with the animated intro, I think it would have looked much better if you hadn't included the jagged movement of the sprites. As I said, very authentic, but I feel like it good of been a very beautiful animation if the movement was fluent.

I'd love to see more. You should do PMD Blue Rescue Team.

Thanks! I really appreciate your comments...I also made a "Making-Of" video where I discuss why I made them all "sprite" like, because basically like you said, to be more authentic...while making a few characters with slightly more movement like Lapras and Pikachu. I have finished a few projects and am currently working on one now where it has fluid animation...so I'm excited to get those out soon to the PokePopulation :)

Thanks again!!

-Chris
