Ruling Pokemon Communication

So if I use pokemon communication to put back a pokemon, can I fail the search because the contents of my deck are not public knowledge, or could you make the argument that since they know that there is at least one pokemon in my deck(whatever I put back)?

You'd think otherwise, but yes, you are allowed to do that. You are always allowed to fail a deck search when the search calls for a specific type of card.
