I don't think we have a Splatoon thread but this is also pretty cool Pokemon news too.
On February 19th and 20th, Splatoon players around the world will have the opportunity to participate in the 11th Splatfest, sponsored by Pokemon to celebrate the 20th anniversary.
Players around the world will be given the opportunity to vote for Pokemon Red or Pokemon Blue and then fight players who picked the other choice in a battle to collect the most points. Normally each Splatfest is restricted to a region (NA, Japan and Europe/Australia), but the Pokemon Splatfest is so big that everyone in the world will be playing.
This is my favorite game on the Wii U and I hope other people here have it too. Next week is going to be awesome! I have no idea which one I'm going to pick (I feel like I'm being asked to choose between breathing and water...).
Also the dialogue between the announcer characters is absolute gold!.
