Post here anything about what do saw/did at the mall tour. Feel free to post appropriate pics and/or vids of your experience. Also show off the cool merchandise/prizes you got!
I went to the Seattle one earlier today and will be going early again tomorrow.
At each of the areas around the mall you can pick up an info booklet with mainly old info on the games and a detailed guide on what you'll find at the tour. It includes details on the Victini event and a page showing the poster of the Black and White anime and the poster for the Zoroark movie.
There was a Demo station, where you could watch an intro video in multiple screens then demo the games. The demo takes place in the town with the ice gym, and you battle both rivals then meet Professor Juniper at the base of Dragon Spiral tower. You play as either the boy character, Blair, or the girl character, Whitlea. IMO Blake and Whitney are better names. Anyways, in the demo you have a lvl 25 Oshawott and a Deerling and Zorua. They all have everstones, and you can't access the bag or anything other that walk around and battle.
Plus, if you try out the demo you'll get a pin of Zekrom or Reshiram (I got the Zekrom one)!
There's also a Stamp Rally. You go to each section (Demo area, Activity Zone, Pokemon Center, Gamestop, Info Booth) and have your booklet stamped. Once you get all 5 stamped head to the Activity Zone and you can get a spin a prize wheel to determine your prize. The prizes I remember are a Snivy Tepig or Oshawott DS Stylus, Snivy Tepig or Oshawott patch, Snivy Tepig and Oshawott phone charm, and Snivy Tepid or Oshawott plushies. I wasn't lucky enough to get a plush, but I got the Oshawott stylus and it's awesome.
At Gamestop you can get Celebi and Crown Suicune.
The Pokemon Center had $10 6- inch plushies or the Starters and Zorua+Zoroark and of course Pikachu. They also had giant $20 plushies of Reshiram and Zekrom (I got Zekrom) and $20 t-shirts of each of the starters, Reshiram, Zekrom, and Pikachu. The artwork looks like their Dream World art. I might post pics later. Figurines of all sizes were available too.
At the movie theater, after seeing the Zoroark movie, keep your ticket stub and bring it to the Info Desk (usually at the main entrance to your mall) and trade it in for an oversized Zorua and Celebi Pokemon card.
Back at the Activity Zone they have character meet and greets with the starter pokemon. There's a center stage area where you can watch highlights of the movies and new episodes of the show. The host will also hold trivia contests and other cool stuff (i couldn't stick around long enough to see this).
One really cool feature is that you can take your pic in front of a green screen and then go online with your special code and you can place pokemon pictures in the background, then you can print them, post them, or send them to friends (I didn't get to try this because of the lines).
That's pretty much what I experienced, so share yours here!
