BW/BW2 Pokedex iOS -- An official app by PCI?

So, this apparently came out three weeks ago, but the site just when live today: http://www.pokedexios.com/

I know Japan's been getting iOS stuff for awhile, but I never once expected PCI to bring it overseas. It's basically Pokedex 3D Pro with more features and without 3D. You get Gen V for $2, but every other gen is $6 each. Ouch. Still, it's cool that there's an official companion out that can actually be used while playing the games.

But if you already have the one on your 3DS this is pretty pointless. I guess the only plus is you won't have to save and close out of the game to look at it. Hmm.

Umm.. It's the first time Pokemon is putting anything on the iOS, but they charge this much for a Pokedex? This cost $26! I would rather get a $1 Pokedex app that is really good on the go, like a mobile Pokemon database. But I don't hate this app, I just have reasons for getting other Pokedex apps. $26 can buy me a brand new Pokemon game, or 4 more dollars, two 3D Pokedex's all ready with all the Pokemon. They are probably making money though.

26 bucks for a Pokedex? I don't think so Pokemon, you're not fooling smart shoppers out there.

He speculates it's so expensive because they're trying to get the same amount of profit as they do from 3D Pro, so they have to compensate for Apple's cut.
