Chapter 1: darkness arises
Seth: c’mon David we gotta make it to the tournament in time
David: ya I no only the top eight trainers of Oxprith town make it in and we made it
*They keep running*
Seth: I can’t believe Cody and Laura-Lynn made it in too
David: Ya but we all have gold battling emblems so it was normal
Seth: This might actually give us a challenge
David: ya I know there’s been no good trainers to battle since we got the emblems
************************at the tourney******************
Announcer: looks like we’re all ready to begin
*six of the eight trainers come on stage*
Announcer: wait where’s Seth and David?
Seth: Wait don’t start with out us!!
Announcer: There they are
David: *pant* sorry we’re late *pant*
Announcer: well the good thing is you’re here SO LETS START THIS TOURNAMENT! In the first round we have Seth vs. Clint ready? Go!
Clint: go Xatu and Spiritomb!
Seth: Tyranitar and Garachomp!
Clint: Spiritomb shadow ball Xatu steel wing
Seth: Stone edge to stop Xatu Tyranitar! And use dragonbreath to stop spiritombs shadow ball!
Clint: dodge and use ariel ace!
Dragon breath and shadow punch collide and make an explosion
Seth: [I can use that to my advantge] tyranitar dig into the cloud garchomp jump into the cloud
Clint: ohh that is so not good Xatu fly into the cloud and use defog to clear the dust up
Seth: bad choice *the dust clears and xatu is surrounded by tyranitar and garchomp*
Seth: use dragon claw and stone edge *Xatu* faints hey wheres spiritomb?
Clint: shadow ball!
Seth: use sandstorm to stop the attack
Seth: Use dragon claw! *spiritomb faints*
Ref: the winner is Seth!
Announcer match two begin!
Laura-Lynn: Go Loppuny and rapidash
Jake: Go Ambipom Luxray
Announcer: hey there’s something different about Jake and his pokemon!
o ya and im kinda mad that Pokémaniac rated my story one star cuz i hadnt got a chapter up

Chapter 2: They Attack
Announcer: It looks like there’s some kind of pattern on his face and his eyes have gone red and so have his pokemon’s eyes
Laura-Lynn: What’s up with the weird pattern on your face?
Jake: Why don’t we make this interesting? If you win I’ll give you my gold emblem and if I win you take this emblem
Laura-Lynn: Why does it have a skull on it?
Jake: That’s how it’s designed
?:no they’ve returned…
Laura-Lynn: well ok I guess whatever will put me closer to ten gold emblems so I can compete in the grand tournament
Jake: ok than it’s a deal now lets battle
Announcer: without any more delay lets begin!
Jake: luxray charge at her loppuny and use discharge
Laura-Lynn: use mach punch to counter it and use rapidash use heat wave on ambipom!
Jake: double attack to stop her rapidash and keep charging luxray
*Ambipom knocks out rapidash and luxray and lopunny collide*
Laura-Lynn: No rapidash! Return
Jake: now use volt tackle
*Loppuny flies out and smashes into a wall and gets knocked out*
Laura-Lynn: No loppuny! I lose
*she walks off*

Laura-Lynn: *crying* how could I lose in the first round? I’m supposed to be the best trainer ever
Jake: I know how to make you the best trainer
Laura-Lynn: How?! You have to tell me!
Jake: Remember our bet? you take the dark emblem now
Laura-Lynn: Dark emblem?
*Seth and Cody hear a shriek*
Seth: what was that?
Cody: it sounded like Laura-Lynn
Announcer: Well we have no choice but to delay the match so we can find Laura-Lynn
