ok, so apparently on Pokemon Get TV (or whatever its called) there was a picture that had the following mons on it:

Does anyone know if there was any reason this was brought up in the show? It seems like it might be a list of Megas found in game.

Seems possible.. currently we have 48 megas, there are 12 pokemon listed without a mega, The metagross is randomly shiny.. could be. Although I can't picture ninjask or deoxys getting megas.. but who knows.

^Actually, Ninjask would be a good contender for a Mega... And Deoxys, well, there's the Delta Episode and it shows Mega Rayquaza vs Deoxys. The "rivalry" between the two is a common subject in pokémon media, except now Rayquaza has a Mega, so even though they were never equal to begin with, them bringing the battle into an official game could be a hint of Deoxys getting a Mega as well. And Deoxys is kinda like Mewtwo in that department. After all, it is the DNA Pokémon and that fits with the concept of Mega Evolution.

For those of you who didn't watch, here's the context:
Four of the regular hosts of the show were having a ORAS tournament. The 16 Pokemon shown were the pool that they could choose from. The winner was the team who ended up with Mega Swampert, Deoxys, and... something else.

Pokemon Get TV is almost nothing but the hosts goofing around like that.
