Okay, first off, I wanna say that this is not a one day only thing. I just started it on Platypus day because, well- it fits the theme. 
Second: Paltypus Day was inspired by one of the shows that I personally think is awesome: Phineas And Ferb. Platypus Day isn't "actually" a holiday. It's just a marathon on T.V. But it probably won't be for long!!! (At least for us. )
Okay, so here's what to do in this thread:
Post anything Platypus related, including awesome facts that are (sorta) pointless but fun to know! Whether it be the one and only Agent-P (*waggles fingers to music* He's a semi-aquatic egg laying mamal of action...) or actual Platypi!!! (Platypuses, Platypi, Playpeople, well, you know what I mean.) I don't care if it's poems, artwork, songs (If you could include the tune of it, that'd be great!), or ANYTHING.
Okay, I think that I've explained enough, so let's celebrate!!! (If there's anything that I didn't clarify please let me know, I'll help you A-SAP. (= )

Perry The Platypus:
They say you don't do much,
But I know better.
I know that for Mother's Day,
You knitted your mom a sweater.
"He's just a Platypus",
Apparently this is common sense?
But when you busted through Doofenshmirtz's wall,
You paid the expense.
They say that this poem is pointless,
But what do you think?
At least Perry The Platypus,
Is Blue instead of pink.
(Heh, sorry if you like pink better than blue, but an egg laying mamal wearing a fedora that's PINK?)
Anyways, have fun discussing Platipi!!!
P.S. I know, I can't wright a good Platypus poem...
