I feel like I should be following Smogon rules where I don't post in this thread too often but I get a good feeling off this deck, so I'm hoping I can get some good feedback.
Pokemon: 19
Strategy:
Okay, this deck's main idea at the start was to capitalize on Volcarona's Solar Transporter - discarding off 5 cards from the top of your deck seems harmful, but in Night March it could prove to help mill off the Marchers! Then I realized I need something that can help accelerate, I needed a 'back-up' plan, and that's where Lugia EX and Thundurus EX come in, along with the Plasma Badges. Plasma Badge can turn one of the benched Marchers into a Plasma Pokemon, Thundurus begins Raiden Knuckling and attaching discarded energy - from retreating, Battle Compressed off, etc. - and Lugia acts as a clean-up sweeper if need be.
What I've noticed in this deck, however, are two things:
1. Sometimes I don't get the draw power I need, meaning there's a few turns of twiddling my thumbs hoping I get the draw I need while my opponent sits there and wracks up damage, prizes, energy and so on.
2. It's really hard to get that acceleration going early enough to warrant Thundurus EX being in the deck. When it works, it works really well, but up until that point I'm not in the best place. As a result, there are some games where I need to concede fairly quickly because I don't have the acceleration I need.
So with that, hopefully this deck isn't a lost cause - and if it is, I got Plasma cards to start building Plasma - that may be fruitful... eventually. Thanks for reading!
