Is thread going to be used for other things besides guessing the set list? I think the set will be filled with a lot of really dumb and powerful cards, I'm especially looking forward to the Plasma Klinklang and Cobalion EX. What do you guys think of Klinklang decks?

I'm excited to see how Zapdos EX FA and Moltres EX FA look.

But I'm even more excited to see when they release JPN versions of these two cards.

I wish. The first news story said "8 new Pokémon-EX including 4 full-card art Pokémon!" And since we know we're getting the EX's from the decks, chances are there aren't going to be FA Zapdos or Moltres :\ Or it means BK EX (new one), WK EX (new one), Cobalion EX, and Victini EX won't be in the set.

That's quite disappointing! :(

So we get Zapdos, Moltres, and the Plasma Gale EX's; what could the other two be?

Most likely the Black Kyurem EX and White Kyurem EX from the same decks as Zapdos and Moltres. I know, it's pretty stupid that we get them twice, but they don't have the same attacks, and I don't know what else they could do.

Oh ok that's what you meant in your post.

That's really a bummer. Well, Plasma Storm is going to be one tough set to complete. :p

I tend to doubt it soulwind. Its smaller than BC was and there isn't 3 FA Supporters. I don't know about you guys but I managed to complete that set fairly quickly and for under 250$

I'm curious to see how much of an element poison plays in this set. Plan on getting a box or 2 mostly to have trades for tournament decks, but also to collect, as there are some cool looking cards in the set. Was watching some people open Japanese boosters on youtube and there's some cool cards for certain.

Plasma Storm should cost less to collect then Boundaries Crossed. It was 1 less Ace Spec, 1 less Shiny, and 2 of the FA EX's are turned into regular EX's, basically. It will probably also have less FA Supporters, too. It also only has 1 "big money" EX (probably Lugia), where as Boundaries Crossed had Landorus and Keldeo. Even though PS has more above average EX's. There's a chance it will have the FA Giratina and Darkrai, but those will be cheaper then half the holo's in the set.

Please, I dearly pray to Jesus Christ (no really) that we get the primo utility Trainer Items and that one Stadium that we oh-so missed out on in Boundaries Crossed (AKA Ether, Escape Rope, Bicycle, Virbank Gym, and Hypnotoxic Laser, which that last one is thankfully confirmed!) I'm also dearly hoping for Colress Machine, Colress, and Plasma Badge as well <3<3<3<3

I feel Plasma klinklang is very underrated. The majority of the current format's tier 1 decks rely on EXs. Assuming Klinklang gets onto the field consistently, I believe it really can be something hard to beat, especially since cards like Skyla and CP-search make it easier to get early stage 2's. The only deck which relies on EX attackers which I can think of which might stand a chance would be a Garbodor deck.
Questions:
What attackers would you run in this deck? Would you run the shift gear klinklang? Are there any other ways around this deck?

1. Registeel to tank. I think that it is much better than Cobalion EX because it can tank with its second attack even if it needs 4 energies.

2. If I use Registeel EX I will probably use BW Klinklang to move energies because of the high energy cost and to tank more with Max Potion. Sigilyph and BOuffalant would have a hard time going through this.

3. Terrakion and Reshiram are what comes to my mind. That and Garbodor.

I think that the list might be inconsistent. With a good list and a fast set up, it would be monster. I don't really think it is underrated because you need to get that Klingklang and if it gets KO, you could say goodbye.

Sadly, they have those 2, white kyurem and black kyurem ex, non FA. Cobalion, victini, Lugia and Articuno FA/regular...

I don't think we'll actually get an FA for Moltres or Zapdos. Pokemon.com says that there's 4 FA EX cards in the set, meaning the other 4 EX's won't get FA's. Unless something crazy happens, we'll be getting:

FA Lugia EX
FA Articuno EX
FA Victini EX
FA Cobalion EX

Well, apparently some of the cards are up for pre order on T&T.. Lugia is at 40 already..

Interesting, I didn't think the price would hike due to Lugia doing so poorly in Japan (I think it's a terrible card also, but this isn't the place for that discussion.) I guess all the ridiculous hype for it allows T&T to set those kind of prices.
