Plasma Freeze Prerelease

Considering that you can't guarantee any specific pulls, wouldn't a better idea for the thread be to post cards that would work well in this format? I did that a few years back, and they were fairly popular.
Well yes it could be, but I think almost everyone on here knows what the metagame cards are going to be. So this is just here to post combos for prereleases only. For example, with plasma storm, heatmor was never going to be a competetive deck but it definitely succeeded in the prereleases.
Raticate+Team Plasma stuff seems good.
Hoothoot is ok for draw but the downside is your opponent gets to draw too. If you pull Noctowl though, that could be a nice little combo.
If you pull enough Eevee+Evolutions, that's really nice for Signs of Evolution
Pachirisu is a nice starter for any deck to search out Energy while Cryogonal seems like the best starter for a deck focusing on Water types. Beldum is pretty nice for rearranging cards and Grimer can potentially Catcher+Poison for a Heads which isn't that bad.
Other than that, it seems like there's less good cards that combo well in a Prerelease but maybe that's just me. Float Stone is a very big card for granting free Retreat in this kind of format as well.

Also, due to Jolteon's attack, and to a much, much lesser extent, Shiny Reprint Sigilyph's Safeguard, any mono-EX deck must be avoided.
