The Pikachu "Celebration" promo for Worlds 2025 was just revealed at the North American International Championships!

The artwork features Pikachu battling Iron Thorns, perhaps a reference to last year's winning Iron Thorns ex deck. They're in a stadium that copies the window architecture of the Anaheim Convention Center. Silhouettes of a roller coaster and Ferris wheel are seen in the background, matching the ones at the Pixar Pier at Disney's California Adventure.

I’m not surprised, but the promo number (225) is interesting / telling. To me, it pretty much confirms that the Scarlet Violet era is continuing after Black Bolt White Flare. I don’t think the Scarlet Violet era continuing was a wild prediction, but I did see some speculation that Black Bolt White Flare could be the final two sets of this era. With this reveal though, I’m now leaning towards Scarlet Violet continuing through at least the first mega set.

I think the mega sets come out before ZA if my memory is correct, so it makes sense they’re part of the SV era.

I'm pretty sure that this promo will come out in the US before our first mega set though. They can still switch over eras here.

It means nothing, last Sword and Shield promo was in the Trainer's Toolkit 2023 on August when the last set was released on January 2023.

To you, okay. But in general it doesn't have to mean that. Arceus SWSH307 was also released 7 months after the end of SWSH. Victini IR Promo should be SV208, SV209-212 are the ETB and Blister promos. Snivy, Tepig and Oshawott should be 216-218, so it's only a gap of 6 cards. Black bolt and White flare could also get Premium collections in Sep or Oct with several promos.

Yeah Victini is 208, 209/210 are the etb promos and 211/212 are the sticker collection promos.

As I said. And the three starters in die Poster collection should be 216 - 218. And I'm sure there will be a Premium collection for Black Bolt/White Flare as well in the autumn like the Espeon/Umbreon Boxes for Prismatic or the Lugia Box for Crown Zenith released months after the set release.

No, the starters are cosmos holo versions, AR promos are always after no AR promos.

Maybe one of this 6 cards is the new Paradise Resort 2025 Worlds promo!?
