We all know that Easter Eggs, aside from a fun holiday tradition, are little secrets hidden within video games and movies. I believe i have discovered one in D/P. Here is Pikachu, second frame:

So, you are now asking, "What's the big deal?"

Do you remember good old Yellow Version? Do you remember the box art?

Does anyone see a resemblance?

Wow I never even thought of that either. I does look cool though.:)

that isn't the real cover of yellow, im pretty sure it isn't. Yellow was in Color, for the Gameboy color. I don't see the big deal though :/

I have Yellow and that IS the real box. That's cool though! They used the same art years later!

Could this be a sign of a Yellow remake though? If I had to guess, it would probably not be likely to happen sadly.

Aside from the fact that he is facing the oppisite direction and he also doesn't have sparks flying from his cheeks, it's pretty much the same...And, the strangest part is, I figured this out in a dream! I woke up and dug through some old stuff to find my Yellow Version, then got onto PE2K's Sprite resource and clicked Male Second Frame, and found that my dream was reality!

If they used the pose for the Yellow cover, wouldn't that just mean it's a pose that a Pikachu would normally do? Plus, I've seen Pikachu do that pose many times in the anime; It's just a normal pose for Pikachu when he's about to fight.

So yeah, I'm going to say this is probably just a coincidence.

Well, the action of Pikachu has sparks coming out of it's cheeks. Just like the Yellow Version cover.

thats both an insult to McDonald's and a true statement! (odd huh?)

especially when we all know it was Burger King! Let's not forget which fast food chain released Pokemon Toys during the First Movie....
