  • 1 Mewtwo SM10 (retrieval)

  • 3 Pokémon Communication (search)
  • 3 Scoop Up Net (retrieval)
  • 3 Giant Bomb (beatdown)
  • 3 Escape Rope (control)
  • 4 Quick Ball (search)
  • 3 Switch (retreat)
  • 3 Chaotic Swell (disable)
Energy (10):
  • 6 Psychic Energy
  • 4 Horror Energy

STRATEGY:

Start with Dragapult V and bench Meowth in addition to another Dragapult V. Next turn evolve into Dragapult Vmax and start to attack with Max Phantom. Bench Oranguru and Espurr and evolve Meowth into Persian. Use either Escape Rope of Boss’s Order to move the injured defender to the bench to finish him off with Espurr. If Dragapult Vmax is still alive he can be used to place damage on the new defender to set up consecutive knock outs with Espurr. Once Dragapult Vmax has been defeated and the opponent has already drawn four prize cards bench Mimikyu V and move it to the active spot. Dummy Doll prevents it from being defeated on the next turn but you should make sure to have no other multi-prize Pokémon on the battlefield at that point.

SPOILER:

Mimikyu V
Basic Psychic Pokémon
HP: 160
Ability: Dummy Doll
You may use this ability once during your turn, when you play this card from your hand onto your bench. Until the end of your opponent’s next turn, prevent all damage done to this Pokémon by attacks from your opponent’s Pokémon.
[P] Envying Eyes
Put 3 damage counters on your opponent’s active Pokémon for each prize card your opponent have taken.

Hi mienshao man,

The deck is similar to the more popular Espurr version of Rapid Struke Urshifu VMAX. the main idea is to hit with Dragault VMAX and push the defender to the bench to attack it with Espurr while Persian is on the bench to reduce the attack cost to zero. This is sufficient to knock out Pokémon VMAX and also resolves part of the problem of being unable to stream attackers due to the energy cost.
