I mean, it is sort of logical though. Every single Pokemon has had a normal print card released in a matching generational set. All except for Eternatus.
This is how I collect for my Pokedex. The first normal print pack pull card for each Pokemon. Eternatus, a Gen 8 Pokemon never received a normal print card from a Gen 8 Sword and Shield Set. The Radiant Eternatus was the closest we got.
All Pokemon followed a pattern. Got debuted in a generation. Received normal print card in a set from that same generation. Eternatus broke that pattern. I'm not surprised everyone was superstitious about not getting a normal print Eternatus card at this point. TPC neglected to give us one in Gen 8.
It's pretty logical honestly.
