If my opponent's active pokemon has an Expert Belt and my pachirisu KOed it using Smash Shot, would I draw 1 prize card due to Expert Belt being discarded, or 2 prize cards prior to the Expert Belt still remained with the pokemon when it gets KOed?

You would draw one prize card because you carry out all effects of attacks before checking for a KO. This includes discarding Expert Belt.~Mark
