Boggly Woods. It is very mysterious and has great music. Flurrie couldn't have chosen a better place for a house.

Chapter 7 was such a funny chapter. Between Goldbob asking for as much money as possible, having to chase General White around, and then having to stomp on him several times to wake him up was pretty funny (He's awake... nah... he's still asleep). Goldbob is a funny character all around; I like how he thinks of overkill presents for Bub (want a hotdog? buy the hotdog stand).

I hated chasing General White around. Even with Yoshi to ride, it still took forever... and he always ended up back in Fahr Outpost anyway.

I almost beat the Shadow Queen the first time I fought her... I had her down to 11 HP, one Spring Jump away from victory... and I messed it up. Seven damage, game over for me.

Round two I took off all my badges and only put on what I needed, and I cleaned house.

This time around I plan on utilizing the Danger Mario strategy (I've beaten both the Pit of 100 Trials and the main game 'legitimately', I've earned it) so the Shadow Queen will just die in one Power Bounce anyway. Same goes for Bonetail, it's gonna be sweet.

Oh, and right before the second half of the battle with the Shadow Queen, you are fully cured as if you had rested at an inn.

I also read that during the few turns in which she is invincible, you can still hit her with Supernova. However, if you do, the game will glitch up, since you aren't supposed to hurt her during this time. Anyone know if there's any truth to this?

My favorite chaptor:I forgot whats it called it was the train one
it just made me feel relaxed and when I got to the town I
felt so rich:D
Charactor:Vivian just love her attacks and power

battle:Against bone tail he had no chance:D so I felt invinceable

And PWMJ I think I tried that before I just know my game didn't glitch;)

Yeah, I forgot that, what I MEANT to say was that I shouldn't have used all my ITEMS while she was invincible.

Eh, Artemis Fowl. I'm probably the only one who got that....

I already said Of Glitz and Glory was my favorite part of the game, but the train part (3 Days on a Train, or something like that. Related to Snakes on a Plane, maybe?) was also lots of fun. I thought this would be real boring, just riding on a train then exploring suburbs for a Star Crystal, but it turned out to be a blast. The crew on the train was hilarious, and I enjoyed the mystery of finding Doopliss. Then, the train station in the middle of the desrt got my vote as best set in the game. My only complaint was that the boss was real dumb. A bunch of fuzzy-esque creatures morphing together? Please. Although, fighting on top of a speeding train was pretty cool....

By the sound of things, I'm the only one who ever uses Star Power attacks.... I'm in LOVE with Art Attack: On the smaller enemies, you can get almost as much damage as Supernova for 2 less SP. Plus, it's easy to do. Not like Supernova, which requires insane button-mashing (Remember that mini-game Star Fox Adventures?), or Ground Quake, which requires insane precision.

Sweet Feast is pretty good, too, as you can get around 15 FP, 15 Mario HP, and 15 Ally HP each on one turn... But those @$#% poison mushrooms are quite a bother....

And can you believe that it was only after beating the game that I found out you could switch out a dead partner? I just barely beat that Shadow Queen, as Vivian (my best attacker) was dead, and Mario had only 4 HP left (but Art Attack saved the day with the finishing blow!!!). I could've switched out Vivian and brought in Bobbery to use as a chushion. Max upgraded, he has 40 natural HP, and throw on 2 HP Plus Ps and he's a 50 HP wall. Too bad half the Queen's attacks hurt both team members....

Oh! I have a question: Is there some southern island you travel to? (besides Keelhaul Key) I got the hint because it says your Yoshi comes from a southern island, and Wonky (shivers) makes a few references to it... Whatever that fortune teller's name is, Merlee I think, also told me that I could find a star piece right off the pier on a southern island... I looked on K.K., but I couldn't find it... and if she wanted to tell me it was on K.K., wouldn't she just say it right-out? Hmm...
I love the star attacks but I only use them in big fights usaly.

Um, what's the "Danger Mario" Strategy? Equipping a billion of those badges that kick in when Mario's in danger?

Glitzvile. C'mon, thats got to be the best level EVER, and not just in paper mario... Rawk hawk rules!

And Macho Grubba was a damn cool boss.

Getting Chet Rippo to make your HP 5, then, yes, equiping a ton of those badges.

If you want to be even more crazy, you can equip the Mega Rush badge (more if you have more) as well, the Double Dip Badge, buy lots of Boo Sheets, a Jammin Jelly, and then cook a Trial Stew:

Fire Flower = Spicy Soup
Gold Leaf + Ice Storm = Snow Bunny
Slow Shroom + Point Swap = Poison Shroom
Snow Bunny + Spicy Soup = Couple's Cake
Poison Shroom + Couple's Cake = Trial Stew

I haven't tested to see if the badges that work "Danger" also work in "Peril", but I would assume that they do.

It is a rather complicated proceedure, and it might be more effective to use the Danger setup, but you can try this for fun, if you want. When the battle begins, start having Mario use a Boo's Sheet and then Trial Stew (Double Dip). Then, go ahead and use a Jammin Jelly to recover FP (since Trial Stew reduces Mario's HP to 1 and FP to 0). With Mario now in Peril, the Mega Rush badge will kick in, and hopefully the Power Rush badges as well. Just be sure to use a Boo Sheet on Mario every turn; not like there will be that many turns anyway.

If that isn't enough to shut the Shadow Queen or Bonetail up, then I don't know what is.

Nice. I'll have to try that.

Well everyone, I'm gonna be gone for 2 1/2 weeks on vacation, so please miss me! Bye!

I did try fooling around with the Mega Rush badges, and it worked pretty well.

Then the background fell on me. It took me by surprise, and so I didn't Guard against it - 1 damage, game over. :p

Crazy Weavile pretty much has the Danger Mario strategy covered.

Side note, if you equip 15 Power Rush P badges and get Yoshi into Danger, he will OHKO the Shadow Queen with a single Ground Pound if he's at Ultra level. :D

Having 1 HP still counts as being in Danger (5 HP or less), so Power Rush badges will still work (and they also work in conjunction with Mega Rush).

Once Chapter 6 begins, you can purchase Power Rush and Power Rush P badges for 34 Piantas each, which converts to 102 coins.

Do this as many times as you want. It's not recommended to use it on your first playthrough, as it makes the game horrendously easy.

Yeah... ending battles in 1-3 turns isn't all that fun. I know that you can't make the full use of Danger Mario until the end of Chapter 6 (to access Chet Rippo). You can jump in the water or a pit many times until your HP is 5, and do that, but still, it is kind of cheap.

The Paper and the Plane games are probably the best way to earn more Piantas without spending more money. I like the Plane game, and am getting better at landing on the x2 and x3 platforms. Great for getting the 234 Piantas necessary to get 3x Gold Bars or a Money Money badge. Can also get Ultra Shrooms and Jammin Jellies that way as well.

One of my favorite things about the game were the talking black chests. Supposedly, they were the heros that sealed up the Shadow Queen before, and became cursed. I enjoy listening to the whole "Wheee.... fooools!" speech each time.

I thought it was neat how the chests slowly stopped deceiving you about how cool the thing inside was, and how the last chest pretty much said, "Yeah, I'm gonna curse you, just let me out so I can do it already."
