TCG Fakes Ninja Penguin's Text-Based Fakes - Day and Night

I'm back!
Basic/Rockruff/HP 50/Fighting

Ability: Scent Search
Once during your turn (before your attack), you may search your deck for a Pokémon that evolves from Rockruff. Shuffle your deck, then put that card on top of it.

[C][C] Turn Wild 30
This Pokémon is now Confused.

Weakness: [F] x2 Resistance:
Retreat Cost: [C]
54/75 C
As they get close to evolving, Rockruff leave their trainer. They only return once they've completed their transformation.
Stage 1 ~ Evolves from Rockruff/Lycanroc-Midnight/HP 100/Fighting

[F][F][C] Dark Forte 100
If the Day side of the Time Counter is face-up, this attack does nothing.

Weakness: [F] x2 Resistance:
Retreat Cost:
55/75 R
Midnight form Lycanroc love battle so much, it causes their eyes to glow. It doesn't mind getting hurt if it wins the battle in the end.
Stage 1 ~ Evolves from Rockruff/Lycanroc-Midday/HP 100/Fighting

Ability: Deadly Speed
If the Day side of the Time Counter is face-up, you may play this card from your hand to evolve a Pokémon during your first turn or the turn you play that Pokémon.

[F][C] Accelerock 50
If you go first, you can use this attack on your first turn.

Weakness: [F] x2 Resistance:
Retreat Cost:
56/75 R
Midday form Lycanroc are known for their extreme speed. It is said that they get this speed from the sun.

Nice ideas here! The contrast between the Midday and Midnight forms is quite nice. I did notice a redundancy in the Deadly Speed Ability, since Scent Search appears to be able to be used on your first turn too.

I think Scent Search is supposed to be read as "Shuffle your deck, then put that card on top of your deck", so it's the next card you draw.

If it's evolving, I think it needs the "This counts as evolving this Pokemon" text (see Zorua DEX).

PP is correct in this case. I based my wording off of Swampert (PC36). If it was evolving, I think it would say "put that card on top of this Pokemon."
Basic/Eevee/HP 60/Colorless

Ability: Time Evolution
If the Day side of the Time Counter is face-up, this Pokémon can't evolve into Umbreon. If the Night side of the Time Counter is face-up, this Pokémon can't evolve into Espeon.

[C] Trade Away 10+
You may put this Pokémon onto your opponent's Bench. If you do, this attack does 20 more damage.

Weakness: [F] x2 Resistance:

Stage 1 ~ Evolves from Eevee/Espeon/HP 90/Psychic

Ability: Sensitive Fur
Any damage done to this Pokémon by attacks is reduced by 10 (after applying Weakness and Resistance).

Basic/Nidoqueen GX/HP 180/Fighting

[F][C] Family Fury GX 20+

Can i suggest a GX?

[G][G] Petal Bloom 40

Weakness: [W] x2 Resistance: [L] -20
Retreat Cost: [C][C]
62/75 U
Sunlight causes this Pokémon to bloom. A Cherrim exposed to a lot of sun can be as large as a boulder.

Wow, that's a lot of requests.
In that case I would like to suggest Ditto GX
Here it is:
Basic/Ditto GX/HP 110/Colorless

Ability: Stolen Cells
This Pokémon can use the attacks of any of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. (You still need the necessary Energy to use each attack.) If you do, put 2 damage counters on that Pokémon.

[C][C] Failed Memories

[C][C][C] Repeating Act GX

It seems I've yet to request something here. I'm going to request Pichu, please! :D
How could I guess that you would request that?
Basic/Pichu/HP 40/Lightning

Ability: Unaware Zapping
As often as you like during your turn (before your attack), you may flip a coin. If heads, place 1 damage counter on each of your opponent's Pokémon. If tails, place 1 damage counter on each of your Pokémon.

[L] Ukulele Lullaby 20
This Defending Pokémon is now Asleep.

Weakness: [F] x2 Resistance:
Retreat Cost:
83/75 C
Sometimes, gangs of Pichu team up in attempt to control the world. This is sometimes called a Pichupocalypse.
I'd like to request a Pokemon that just has abilities, yet can still act as a win condition. An example would be Snorlax Dragon Frontiers.
Basic/Palkia/HP 130/Dragon

Ability: Matter Manipulation
Between turns, if this Pokémon is affected by a Special Condition, you may switch 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon with his or her Active Pokémon. That Pokémon's Retreat Cost is [C] more during your opponent's next turn.

Weakness: [N] x2 Resistance: [L] x2
Retreat Cost: [C][C][C]
84/75 R
Palkia has full control over space. It can move any Pokémon anywhere in the world.

Palkia seems very strong. It doesn't at all care about Paralysis because it doesn't need to attack, and the fact that you've got a free Lysandre in addition to the "can't retreat" makes Palkia very difficult to KO. (The only way your opponent can choose which Active to promote is by you KOing one of them, which you aren't going to do, or use a Switch or a Rush In shenanigan.) =P

I really like the Repeating Act GX! It's that type of effect that really suits a GX, and you haven't just added a high damage GX attack for the sake of adding a high damage GX attack. Very neat! ^.^

Trainer/Item
Eject Button

If the Pokémon this card is attached to is your Active Pokémon and is damaged by an opponent's attack, you may switch that Pokémon with 1 of your Benched Pokémon.

64/75 U

Nice Eject Button! You should specify whether it activates before being damaged, or after, however. =)

Palkia's new wording looks about right. It's still pretty powerful though - you can discard 26 cards before being KO'd yourself, and even then, you've got the luxury of healing Items and switches. You also have basically auto-won against any deck that benches Pokemon with a high retreat cost and high energy cost, if you consider hammers. :p

Perhaps add a "Flip a coin. If tails, discard this Pokemon and all cards attached to it" type of effect on Space Distortion, and mill only 1? That would make an interesting but more balanced mill style... you're constantly denying prizes, but that can only happen for so long, as you're effectively losing resources on each tails flip.

I assumed the "and is damaged by an opponent's attack" would be enough to should it happens after the damage.

I've upped it to 4 damage counters. I'm hesitant to go any higher, as any deck with high retreat cost should run some form of retreat aid (Float Stone, Manaphy EX, multiple Switch/Escape Rope) and Hex Maniac can shut it down.
Basic/Oranguru/HP 100/Colorless

Ability: Item Savvy
