Hi.
I have a question about the Rising Rival's Nidoqueen and it's Maternal Comfort Poke-Body, which states "At any time between turns, remove 1 damage counter from each of your Pokemon."
Suppose my active pokemon is poisoned and at the start of my turn, is 10hp away from a knock out. I then get Nidoqueen into play during my turn. After my turn ends, in what order does effects happen. Does my active pokemon get knocked out and I then remove 10 damage from the rest of my pokemon, or do I remove the damage 1st and then add the damage on again.
Also, out of interest, will the same apply for other conditions as well (for example, sleep and burn)

Thank You

Both effects happen at the same time, but knockouts are not checked for until after the "between turns" step is completed so your active pokemon is not knocked out because both poison and Maternal Comfort must occur.

Q. If Dark Tyranitar has 10 HP left and is Poisoned, would it be Knocked Out before "Sand Damage" took place?
A. No. Even if a Pokémon receives more damage counters from Special Conditions, Poké-Bodies, or Poké-Powers than its remaining HP, that Pokémon isn't Knocked Out until "between turns" is over. (Feb 24, 2005 PUI Rules Team)
