If i get knocked out with exact damage would Maternal comfort go in effect leaving me with 10hp or do i die?

Msternal comfort takes place between turns. So if you faint as a result of an atack, you are not saved. If you are poisoned which takes place between turns or something similar to that effect, you resolve all effects that happen between turns. Then you check for kos.

If you're poisoned, you may heal first, then take poison damage. However, in the first scenario you die before you can be healed.

^There's no order of effects in between turns, except you check for KOs after all effects.
