1st start of with a black and white solid noise. Filters > Renders > Clouds > Solid Noise

2nd:
Create 2 new layers. Layers > New Layer > click it and just use the default setting.

3rd:
On one of the layers brush around with a white brush, make sure it’s a shiny one and not to Grungy.
On the other change the colour to black and brush round with a Grungy brush.

4th:

Now open up your render and place it everywhere. Now merge all your render layers together and motion blur them full power !
Make sure the motion blur is blured the way the render is facing.
Now just Gausion blur the layer to give it a smoother look.

Now place this above the brush layers and set to either Grain Merge or overlay, you can also set it above the render layer to give some more tone.

Option 1 set to Overlay

Cool nice one I'll try it!

How do you change from one layer to another?

cuz we got way too much free time on our hands Because people here like making, requesting, and using pokemon-themed banners to put them in their signatures. (what else would you use to fill your signature space up :p)

Nice tutorial, i'll keep it in mind :D
