New Set ! - Phantom Heroes

I see your point, but I didn't give you the full story....

The Phantom Pokemon are the "elites" (I use that loosely) of their respective types. When a Pokemon get KO-ed, the Phantom Pokemon take the form of the elite Pokemon and ensure the safe "passing" of the Pokemon. They are like guidance to the afterlife.

My fake commercial might make more sense:

There is a lone Togepi crying over a deceased parent Pokemon in a cold graveyard at night. You see the spirit of Togekiss above the tombstone smiling over the Togepi, when an evil spirit attacks the Togekiss spirit. The Phantom Heroes posses a Pokemon, like Arcanine, and assist the Togekiss.

And at the end, the announcer says: New, Pokemon:phantom Heroes, fight from beyond the grave, get revenge for the fallen...in stores now. :p

Plus, it would be harder to get out the Phantom Pokemon if you could only play them when a Pokemon of the same name got KO-ed.

Nice set especially like the Reboot energy I could abuse that =D
Also like the timer ball a lot! would help my torterra with its catch up game lol
 
While the thread hasn't had new posts for months, I'll keep it open in case green_monkey (who I see is still active on the forums, or else I'd just lock it now) wants to allow the thread's discussion to continue. (I'll also move it to Fake Creations now.)

A very good idea, Phantom heros is. I envy all your energy cards, they seem so real, that I could reach in to my computer and take them out to use. My favoirate card from your set is Dragonair, as it is welll structured.
 
As the thread is floating I might as well comment -

Nice to see someone using Cascade's special blanks, it's so rare seeing them used now :) I'm going to agree that the text isn't great - but you clearly don't have the correct tools so you've improvised well. As for the Copyright - sorry but what the hell is going on? It goes over the box and doesn't look right. Copyright text should be centred, at the bottom, 2px above the border. Also, you might want to post them as links to save lagging things.
 
great set, you should just add in shinys, cuz that just makes sets awesome.

I'd love to do some artwork if your interested BTW
 
I apologize to all the fans. I thank you all sincerely and I appreiciate all the comments. Thank you Xous, you are a kind person.

I recently started University (Engineering), so I have no time to work on this set. I would love to finish it, and I've done all the card errata and I've collected 90% of the art for the set, all I need to do is put it together. If you would all be so-kind, and be a little patient, the entire set will be up mid-May (2010).

P.S. @ Xous - It's your choice if you want to lock it or not, I do appreiciate all the comments. However, I will not be updating until late April (2010).

P.S. @ Lordy Jones - I do need some artwork, and I appreciate the help. For now PM me a sample of your work, and I'll reply back in the future with any artwork I need. The reason for this is because I look for a certain style of art for the cards, and since I'm terrible at it, I take my time trying to find the right pictures.
