I doubt it is obvious to people whether or not they spammed. Spam is really subjective anyway. I mean, look at RickRaptor, he reported 45 posts in a span of four hours. He obviously has a much tighter view on what is spam than say, Armaldoex.
For example, a post in the deck garage saying "I agree with X person. His or her fixes would fit your deck perfectly," isn't spam in my book, because it reenforces an opinion and is helpful to the poster. However, most people find this to be spam.
I just find it ridiculous that are trying to tell people not to spam, when there isn't even a clear, universal definition for spam.

Well, it is a once sentence/4 word post. I wouldn't mind if you are helping, but you could help if you stated your reason. At least you will help further than just giving an option.

But what if someone don't know what these 'B FTW' letters are? I don't know. I think it should be better in short posts if you would write whole words. In long posts you can see from whole post what the poster mean with some letters (like B FTW), but you can not see it just from 'B FTW'. So I agree with Whicker. If someone writes "I agree with X person. His or her fixes would fit your deck perfectly," I think it shouldn't be a spam. I don't know for B FTW because I don't know what it is.

I agree with Whicker that a complete sentence would not be spam as it clearly explains everything and it shows that effort is made to distinguish it from postcount++.

Absol, I know that you are trying to help me. But, help often goes unappreciated, unacknowledged OR regarded as spam. Anyway, it was not a complete sentence and majority of the members who have responded to this subject treat it as spam, so you will have to accept this fact.

AEX, you are right, but you made a mistake in the word count. It is not a four word post but a two word posts which has four letters altogether.

Shadow Hunter, FTW, according to Absol (I asked him) means "for the win". I was not aware of such an abbreviation before, so I asked.

If the "fight" between both factions continues, I suggest a judge to justify this "case".

Man, Abhorsen is going to say I'm overusing the Report button. I even had to copy what my reasons are and paste them CONTINUOUSLY. Please do NOT post to threads that are 2 weeks old. Look at the words that I bolded and underlined and you'll see how disappointed I am.

SIMPLE THINGS THAT ARE OFF SUBJECT... That's looked upon as spam, none other. If someone's PERSPECTIVE on that is other than spam, than we're saying that anyone can post anything in any thread...

In my personal opinion, this isolated post is spam. Granted, I have not seen the whole thread so my opinion may be skewed. But really, if someone asks "Choice A or B?" and you respond with just "B," then that is spam. However, if you respond with "B, because of X reason," then that isn't spam. Also, if someone posts an idea with a reason, then it is NOT spam to agree with them, because it is understood that he or she's reasoning is correct.

Just my 2 cents.
