I know its not really new but it will be released worldwide in late 2009. It is a Brizillian made console. What do you think.

It has a few major publishers, but some serious performance issues. Downloads via a 3G network is an interesting idea, though. That appears to be its only quirk.

I think it will enjoy a cult following at best. There's no way this will compete with Nintendo, Sony or Microsoft in Japan, the US, or Europe. I think it stands a chance to beat the Nokia N-gage in sales in those regions.
 
Very poor tech. By system specs, its not onna be very good. The wii, however, proves that system specs don't make a consol: the game-play does.
 
I don't see much of a future for it outside South America. The PS3, Xbox 360 and wii have been on the market for years. To compete against those 3, you either must have better graphics or something innovative.
 
Most of those games are ports of somewhat modern games or old games (Street Fighter Alpha, Tekken 2, Double Dragon, Come on!) The controller also looks quite uncomfortable Zeebo=Fail

I can imagine this:
mom: time to stop playing with your boomerang

mom: don't be silly,thats a boomerang please use it correctly.
kid: it's not a boomerang.
mom: Really. give it to me.
*mom feels Zeebo*
mom: Oh dear it's the phantom boomerang.
kid: IT'S NOT A BOOMERANG
mom: that does it. Go to your room and I am bringing this back to the store.
Funny? it could happen.
 
That, and the boomerang controller IS a nintendo wii controller. D-Pad? Yes. Accelerometer? Yes. 2 buttons labeled 1-2? OF COURSE. Home button? Dont make me finish. Strap to keep it on? Uh exactly...so it is copying other systems. I see no future for zeebo.
