Ok, I know the team may seem a little heavy, but the main stratagy is to continually move the Pokemon back towards its own goal line, so eventually, I can cross it. Swap Spots also helps there. I just learned how to play, so there's probably a lot wrong with it. Erm, ok, that's it. Umm... thanks. =]
 
What other ones do you have? Because my thoughts are

1: Lugia
2: Salamence
3 Murkrow
4: (Somthing with 3MP's)
5: Kyogre
6: Ho-Oh

I just got the Flamethrower starter set today (I sound like a n00b to Pokemon <:O), so I don't have much. When you say 3 move points for a Pokemon, I know its cliche, but how about Treeko:p?

Well it doesn't matter that much you just want to get close to the goal with a fast pokemon then use Switch to bring out a strong pokemon to attack the one defending the goal.
 
Ok, that's a good idea. I already have Murkrow, but I guess another 3 MP Pokemon would be good. The only ones with 3 MP other than Murkrow that I know of are, Voltorb and Treeko. Are there any more?
 
Personaly I would use these:
1: Salamence (To guard your Goal)
2: Mudkip
3: Eevee
4: Absol
5: Ho-Oh
6: Tauros

Trainer:
1: Misty

Trainers:
1: Plus Power (X Attack)
2: Max Revive
3: Switch
 
Hmm...pretty good team. But I agree with everyone else. You really need a pokemon with 3 MP's.
 
I think the best Goal Guardian is something like Lugia. It doesn't move unless you want it to, has a crippling purple attack, and decently strong white move that pops up often.

Heh, heh...My guardian is Murkrow! Oh, that makes me sound bad...Ho-Oh actually isn't bad at all...I think that Zangoose gets credit too because it can do 180 damage with Swords Dance and Crush Claw! I also don't think that Pikachu is bad either.
