Good idea, but it looks very pixelly like you made it with paint.
I like the background? Blue hills right?
Overall, not bad for your first try. 7.5/10

It's very good for a first attempt, It's a good idea and a nice background. Just don't save as a jpg, because that makes things pixelly. PNG is best.

I can tell that you reduced the Picture's Sizes. If I were you, I would avoid doing that at if it is at all possible. It is OK for things to over lap.
 
Try getting better quality images, and a better image quality program like gGIMP, here is a download for gimp and Paint.net both very good programs:
