So recently I was curious to take a peek into 9264's (I'll edit the correct numbers later...don't remember exactly right now) theme deck contest.
In doing so, I caught myself in a swirling box of mysteries and possibilities.
I've made 4 decks so far. Still rising. 3 of them are based on starter pokemon, and the 4th is a fossil deck.
I always got a butt-ton of joy when I was young in opening up my newest theme deck. Ranging from my first one (Overgrowth FTW!!!) to my most recent (Heavy Metal. I iz wantz Yanmegaz.)
And so I figured I'd bring even more joy to myself by making my own. Playing these decks freshly opened wasn't always as exciting as fully constructed tournament-league uber-awesome metagame decks, but it gave me a fresh experience.
And I still play these decks. Preconstructed.
In all their wimpy glory.
And so, I now give you the decks. The list is going to rise, I guarantee it.

When you play the Hot Flash Deck, the thermometer will more than likely explode! With quick beginning attacks and Pokemon, you’ll have no trouble at all worrying your opponent as you beef up your heavy-hitting, energy-discarding attacks for a wave of attacks that are sure to make your opponent sweat!
The Colors of Victory!
You might be thinking, "If I can Knock Out Pokemon in extremely few hits, what do I lack?". The answer; Type advantage. With Ninetails from Mysterious Treasures, you gain just that, and so much more! Its Poke-Power lets you match your opponent's Pokemon's type, making them hesitant to lay down anything that they may be weak to. Its attack, the mighty Fire Blast, is a very cheap attack that can deal 60 damage for just two Energy! How's that for a sunny day?

Plug it in, plug it in!
Another great addition to the Hot Flash theme deck is Elekid from Diamond and Pearl. Its attack is a great accelerator for your high energy needs, and gives you a way to get energy out of your deck without wasting a much-needing trainer card. When the time arrives, you can also instantly evolve your Elekid into an Electabuzz, adding extra strength to the newly evolved pokemon and giving it the power to threaten your opponent's bench as well as their Active Pokemon.

Wondering What cards to change in your 60-card Hot Flash deck? Start by taking out a Vulpix and Electabuzz - This way you lose no more than you gain!

A wall of sopping wet mud descends onto your opponent, do you know how to control it? With Mud Rush, no where is safe. With access to a wide array of bench damaging attacks that will make your opponent duck for cover, even though they can't, you can just keep on rolling. If your opponent tries to take refuge in their unseen cards, Cover their deck with a thick layer of muck with Swampert's deck destruction attack.
Let the evolutions begin!
You should probably consider adding in Phione from the Majestic Dawn set. Its Evolution Wish attack gets your snipers out faster than ever, and for only one energy! Water Pulse is also a great asset, putting the Active Pokemon to sleep and giving you time to move Phione back for something to begin wrecking your opponent's play area.

Lucky Medal
If you ever find yourself moving slowly with the Mud Rush theme deck, try adding in some Amulet Coin cards from the boosters of Great Encounters. This Pokemon Tool will double your drawing rate, and with Claydol's Poke-Power, you'll have no trouble whatsoever getting YOURSELF out of the Mud.

Not sure what to replace with the new cards? try removing a few Energy Search cards and always be sure your deck remains at 60 cards.

So yep. that's what I spend some time doing a lot.
Lemme know what you guys think, or post your own theme decks! ^^
(This ^ would make me extremely happy. :B)
If any of you guys have made one before, or do now, I'd really like to see it, or maybe we can even play our decks against each other on Redshark! ;D
